TumbleBookLibrary eBooks for Kids – Available for ALL Kansas Libraries!

The following information was taken from emails from Candace LeDuc and Lianne Flax from the State Library of Kansas.

The TumbleBookLibrary is a collection of TumbleBooks (animated, talking picture books) with fiction, non-fiction and foreign language titles, Read-Alongs (chapter books with sentence highlighting and narration but no animation), and Tumble Puzzles & Games.

National Geographic videos paired with non-fiction titles are also available!

TumbleBooks are created from existing picture books licensed from children’s book publishers and converted to the TumbleBook format.

Please feel free to use this on your own website.  No login is required by the patron.  This link provides access to the Kansas account.

The State Library has already put up access to TumbleBooks on these pages:

TumbleBooks has a landing page similar to the other digital books platforms.  We have added in a few FAQs and created a tutorial.  Here is the direct address to that page, for those of you who like to link to these:    http://kslib.info/tumblebooks

Upcoming Webinar for TumbleBooks:

Tuesday, July 2, 10 a.m.

The link will be sent out closer to the date and reminders provided via the listserv.

The patron pamphlet for all statewide ebooks/audiobooks has been updated to include Tumblebooks.  A specific TumbleBooks slip is also available.  Both are found here: http://www.kslib.info/digitalbooks/resources-for-librarians.html

TumbleBooks circulations will be added monthly to the platform statistics spreadsheet, which is also on the Resources for Librarians page.  http://www.kslib.info/digitalbooks/resources-for-librarians.html

And, as always, please let us know if you have questions about using this service.
