Have you registered for KLA Conference in Wichita, April 11-13?  It’s going to be amazing!

This year, KLA is proud to present R. DAVID LANKES of Syracuse University as our Opening Keynote speaker. David most recently wowed the crowd at the ALA Midwinter meeting in Dallas. Check out this two-minute video, where you get a sense of his energy and intelligence.

If that weren’t enough, CORY DOCTOROW is coming to Kansas for a one-day-only special engagement! Here is your opportunity to see the renowned science fiction author, activist, journalist and blogger (co-editor of of the wonderful website, Boing Boing), courtesy of the School of Library & Information Management (SLIM) at Emporia State University, K-State Libraries, KU Libraries, and Wichita State University Libraries and Emporia State University Libraries. Cory Doctorow is the bestselling author of DOWN AND OUT IN THE MAGIC KINGDOM, LITTLE BROTHER, and the short story collection WITH A LITTLE HELP. He is the former European director of the Electronic Frontier Foundation and co-founded the UK Open Rights Group. Born in Toronto, Canada, he now lives in London, England.

Cory will be presenting three times, morning, afternoon and evening, on Wednesday, April 11.
